House Presidents Council The House Presidents Council is a democratic organization composed of the presidents of the womeifs dorms and the sorority wings. Together these girls discuss and solve the problems that may arise among the Women students in the dormitories. New EI House Council Representatives from each dormitory Wing on each floor, the assistant house director, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Morgan as house directors serve as members of the New Ely House Council. Solving any problems that arise and setting up rules for the men living in the dorm are the purposes of this council. Panhellenic Council Promoting sorority activities and cooperation is the purpose of Senior Panhellenic. The members of the Council are from the three national sororities On campus. Planning a Panhellenic Workshop and ironing out problems of the New Dormitory have kept this group busy. Junior Panhellenic Council Three girls from each sorority pledge class are selected tO serve On the Iunior Panhellenic Council. This year the group held a dance for all sorority pledges. The council also worked with the Admis- sions Department in entertaining prospective stu- dents When they came to visit the campus.
