Tongues Blend In Language Departments Harrisonis Language Department, under the leadership of Mrs. Olevia Wenner, offers opportunities to excel in both English and a variety of foreign tongues. Besides required fundamentals of English, such electives as English Literature, American Literature, journalism, Word Power, and Advanced Composition II are offered. The Language Department is fortunate in having a mod- ern language lab, under the direction of Mr. Marvin Moody, which is used in studying Spanish, French, German, or Latin. A new class in Greek was started on an experimental basis after school with Miss Vivian Morlock teaching. This year six Harrison seniors spent time in foreign coun- tries learning their language. Don Elliott and Allan Downen went to Germany under an Indiana University language study program.
