Only the bright moon shimmered on the dark waters of the lake. As the light glimmered on the water, a white flash leaped out Onto the cold white sands ot the Country side. The white flash moved with great skill and speed. Through the brush and shrubs they ran, swiftly, perilously. Alligators, waking to the strange scream-whine, and snakes, sleeping, awoke to see the white flashes running through the waters and leaping into the night. Electric cold flashes formed a pack, ranting and raving. The animals ol the swamp knew something was wrong, very wrong. Then, a sudden deep howling! Where did it come from? What did it mean? The pack of light leit the marsh in complete shambles, tearing at trees, shredding the bark, smashing the rocks, and shattering the grounds. The white pack travelled over swamps, mountains and deserts at a lightening speed. What were they-and why were they here? Was it the wind? Maybe the imagination of all. The pack moved into crevices of the earth breaking and tearing at the hard rock, melting into its seams. The trembling earth heaved and moved into a quiet ease. The pack melted into the earth from its source Father Moon, Mother Water, Animal of Electric Light. When the swamp creatures arrived at the lake, all they saw was the moon glimmering upon the dark waters Ot the lake. -4 ,, MYSTERY DRAWING .
