,ef-fa ,sm , ,, , W.. infwzsf 'il lf MATH Modern textbooks brought a complete re- volution in the mathematics program. Part of this new approach included the combina- tion of plane and solid geometry, and of the second year algebra and trigonometry courses. Programmed texts were continued in the studies of geometry, algebra, and tri- gonometry. Junior contract classes, com- posed of students who had contracted to stay in the same group throughout high school, studied trig, college algebra, and solid geometry, while analytical geometry and an introduction to calculus were studied in the senior contract class. Business math students learned arithmetic processes and skills necessary in today's offices. Danny Collins and Sherry Poindexter demonstrat types of triangles in plane geometry class. l 1 ., we?
