X95 The class of '58 is making its departure. It is with a tinge of regret mingled with anticipation of greater things to come that we leave, feeling confident that the knowledge we have gathered here may be used as a stepping-stone to future endeavors. The fellowship with our classmates which taught us the importance of human relations, our participation in extra-curricular activities, our faculty who influenced our sense of values and responsibility - all have helped to make this a memorable Senior Year We are proud that it was again a Fleming senior who won the Voice of Democracy contest, could we ever forget our long debated Senior meet- ing with its conflicts concerning a different place for Commencement and the endless battle for Senior privileges? Needless to say, we will long remember Macbeth with its in- terminable memory work - Out, out, brief candle . . . - and those chemistry equa- tions that never quite balanced. We, the 25th Senior Class, are aware that we have traveled for from confused eighth graders, to the looked-forward-to position of Seniors. lt is with this realization of our past growth, that we say, truly, Commencement is only our beginning. Mrs. Odom explains Government to her class of Seniors. vw-ff! Calvin Weddle, Beverly Barbee, and Diane McMillian use the resources of the school library to write their Senior themes. Mrs. Mason shows the Senior announcements and calling cards to Alan Brogan, Kenny Garren, and Pat Medley. Judy Mills, J. R. Dunkley, Judy Gilbert, and Ray Fisher prepare to leave for Senior Day at Bedford Lake.
