Dedication As a small token of appreciation for the many times that she, Without a Word of complaint but with a willing smile, laid aside her regular office duties to focus her attention to both our necessary and trivial needs, We, the Annual Staff, do fondly and sincerely dedicate the 1950 COLONEL to Miss Frances Sanderson, our school secretary. VVe are indeed grateful and indebted to her for her kindness and patience.

ur Principal MR. W, ALBERT COULTER In our school program we try to duplicate, approximate or anticipate ex- periences and ideas which will be of value to you in life after school. We aim to prepare those college-bound people for further organized study. We attempt to equip some of you for special jobs in the commercial field. We try to give all of you experiences in working, planning, living with and getting on with your fellow men. It is our earnest hope that we have helped you to become a bigger persona bigger in every way-than you were when you came to us. If we have succeeded, we are glad, if we have failed, we are filled with regret! We would offer one parting word. Let the past be behind you, in other words, forget it. Look forward, not backward! Wring all the good living possible from the present! Keep your eyes to the future, and resolve constantly to do all things well, ever striving to improve on your own present accomplishments. W.
