'fQ ' blocking walkways. students begin a new year. ' 7 ' I' ' Instead of the usual first day busy work, some students were found carrying books from the old library to the new one. L Instead of listening to the teacher, many students could hear only the sounds of drills. and power saws echoing from the Ott wing. as new doorways were being cut through into the hallways. Along with the chaos of construction came the usual problems. The office was overrun with students seeking directions. while others .filled the counselors' office for schedule changes despite the no schedule changes until Wednesday sign on the door. Sophomores and students transferred from Young School per- haps wondered after seeing the confusion, what could there pos- sibly be in store here for their future.
