The sponsor, Miss Sarah Ellen Camp- bell, received an honor November 7, 1968. She was presented a plaque from Missouri Journalism Educations Asso- ciation for her devoted service to the journalistic field. She was one of eight advisers to receive an award of merit from the national journalism Education association at the awards breakfast November 30.
