of ,f The orbit of the school years revolves around the 2050 students of William Chrisman High School. Their classes, achievements, and activi- ties are the contents of this book. Each student is an integral part of this large family. Through the efforts of each one, the 1957-58 school year has become 21 memorable one.

Marian Denham Treasurer The class of 1958 1Vayne Dugger served as president of the 1958 graduating class, l'Vayne also was elected president of the 1955 freshman class. He was an active member of the student council, National Thespians, band, orchestra, and a cappella choir. W'ayrie has been captain of the band and drum major. Wlayne plans to become an engineer and attend Graceland. In the fall of 1955 the First graduating class of Division I entered Chrisman as sophomores. They became an active and important part of Chrisman. School spirit was expanded by these sophomores. They became an essential segment of Chrisman. Serving as vice-president of the senior class is Richard Worden. He has been a member of the football team, MCU club, and a cappella. After graduation Richard plans to attend Graceland College. Richard wants Chrisman to keep its school spirit and be united even though there are two divisions. As juniors this class began assuming the responsibility of leadership with the seniors. They participated in clubs, plays, and the many other activities. Many achievements were attained by this class for Chrisman. Their influence was felt throughout the year. Serving as secretary of the senior class is Sherri Bartlett. Sherri has also been secretary of her class as a junior, sophomore, and a freshman. She is an active member of the Shakespearean Literary society. In her junior year Sherri was elected Halloween attendant and she was elected Halloween queen her senior year. Sherri feels that she is fortunate to be in the first graduating class from William Chrisman Division I. During their senior year this class became the leaders of Chrisman, They served their school well. Even though there were two divisions at Chrisman, this class helped to unite the school and promote school spirit. The honors and achievements which this class has earned will be remembered by other classes at Chrisman Elected as treasurer of the senior class was Marian Denham, She has been an active member of the Shakespearean Literary society, Future Homemakers of America which she served as a recording secretary, National Honor society, student council and band. Marian plans to attend Southwest Baptist College in Bolivar, Missouri, to train as a missionary teacher. lvlarian feels that it is a great honor to be a member of the first graduating class at Division I. The climax of the 1958 school year for the seniors was graduation. These years at Chrisman have prepared them to become the future leaders of the nation. Success is ahead lor the seniors as the doors of life open. 30
