and ub- s as new ber , he . en- -ding ', we lhigh rad- rand fine ool we ved ead id- Guiding the lives of students of William Chrisman is Mr. Benson, principal. He has observed the growth and change of Chrisman since his graduation in 1930 and during the past five years as administrator. William Chrisman was constructed in 1918 with the idea of having a maximum number of 950 students. Throughout the years the increase has been gradual un- til the enrollment is now 1300. Thinking as an administrator Mr. Benson said that changing from the old William Chrisman building to the new one on Noland Road will be advantageous to all students concerned. For example the science rooms, facilities cost approximately S24,000g this comparison of equipment is about the same throughout the entire building. Traditionally, we hate to leave Chrisman because of the many fine remembrances that will always be so dear to all but socially and academically the advancement will be far-reaching, Serving as vice-principal, Mr. Gregory Lefever has spent much time helping students become adjusted to life in Chrisman. After sixteen years of service at William Chrisman he makes the following observations concern- ing the changes. ,.. ., Q, sl Joseph F. Benson Principal ar executin lans for students of tomorrow . g P 'T After some several busy years at William Chrisman I am looking forward to working in a splendid n e w building with additional facilities and new equipment. Along with the changes in buildings will come changes in courses offered, and some reorganization in the pro- gram of extracurricular activities. t'The anticipated fand some unexpectedj changes are a natural outcome of growth and progress since schools must keep pace with the community ofwhich they form a vital part.
