One of The Tormer was The drubbing given Blue Springs in The Ruskin TournamenT. The small Blue Springs ouTTiT iusT couldn'T cope wiTh The Towering sTrengTh of The Chrisman quinTeT. The game ended 54 To 8. The hearfbreaker was The reTurn game wiTh NorTh Kansas CiTy in which an overTime Tree-shoT spelled deTeaT Tor Chrisman. ThaT score was 34 To 35. Tom Conrow was on The TirsT Team oT The Blue Springs. Lloyd Adams was The only Chrisman player To receive a TirsT Team award in The William Jewell TournamenT. AT The end oT The season The Pony Express League selecTed an all-sTar Team which included Gary Ber- gen on The TirsT and Tom Conrow on The second Team. AlThough The oTher members oT The squad did noT place on a TirsT or second Team, They were all adepT aT rimming The goal, and all proved Them- selves excellenT sporTs. These members oT The A squad generally played The Tollowing posiTions: Gary Bergen and Joe Sousley, cenTerg Lloyd Adams and Don Wilkin- son, guard: Tom Conrow, Fred PoTTer, and Edwin Ragan, forward.
