The feam was picked from fhe approximafely sevenfy-five 'boys who furned our for fall pracfices. Olher players showing definife abil- ify, buf needing pradice and correcfion, were slaled for second 'l'eam. The 'leam ran iheir plays from a shori' puni 'formafion wifh a wingback. This year fhe Bears again played in 'lhe Pony Express Conference, in which fhey placed fiffh. Ofher feams composing fhis iough league are S+. Joseph lBenfon, Cenfral, LafayeHel, Norfh Kansas Cify, and Wenfworfh Milifary Academy. Two ou'l- sfanding plays of 'lhe season were made by Bob Andes and E. T. Houk. Andes ran eighfy-eighf yards for a score on a kick-off play by Pembroke Couniry Day School. Houk, fhe season's leading scorer, received a pass and are up ninefy-five yards for a score againsf fhe Wenfworfh eleven. The squad was coached by Mr. Grover Red- ford, assisfed by Mr. Travis Hopkins. To each we wish 'lo express our fhanks for a feam which really knew 'I'he values of good sporfsmanship.
