Street is the representative of the school board and is directly responsible to them. By means of a peculiar aptitude for management he looks after the details of the various 'matters decided by the board. Mr. Street is particularly gifted with a per- sonality which makes for an ideal school-man. He has the capacity to 'instigate improvements and to effect such changes as are necessary. His understanding of the everyday problems makes him fully able to cope with them and solve them satisfactorily. In the school building his under- standing of human nature enables him to deal successfully with the many and varied types of people to be found in a group collected from near- ly every home in the city. We members of the senior class of William Chrisman High School are especially grateful for and appreciative of his col- operation and endless kindnesses.. In the office Miss Chastain capably handles all the correspondence and other matters Which are her responsibility. Here callers are received and interviewed g pupils of both the Junior and Senior High Schools. OFFICE or SuPER1N'r13Nnnx1' E. B.
