The illustrations in this book represent various animals, birds, and also elements of nature. In some, animals are guided by a beacon formed by the dazzling golden rays of the sung some are following the more delicate threads of the silver moonbeams. All are striving to attain a more exalted goal than they have yet achieved. T Thus strive the students of William Chris- man. They are young mariners on the sea of life.
