Rouse Memorial Library William Carey College Hattiesburg, Mississippi For Reference Not to be taken from this room 7 W£ CR USADkR U fLUA U CA kYCOLL£££ UATTl QBU Gr, HA QQ QQ PP DEDICATION We dedicate this issue of THE CRUSADER to our new president, Dr. J. Ralph Noonkester. Much has been accomplished under his leader- ship at Carey College since August when he was voted the unanimous choice as president of this school by the trustees. He is proving that he and Carey College have become one mind, one body, and one spirit by his unceasing efforts to make this school the greatest Baptist school in the South, academically and spiritually. IN M MOR fAM- • • Edith Faye White, sophomore at William Carey College, died on December 7, 1956. In her quiet manner Faye will stand out in the memories of those who knew and loved her as one of the most dedicated Christians on Carey campus. Her life was centered around love. She first loved God and lived her life close to Him. She also loved the church and was a very active member at Immanuel Baptist Church. Her love reached to the Carey campus; she served on the publicity committee of the B.S.U. Greater Council. In that position she was an inspiration daily to those who worked with her. Faye ' s love for her friends was shown in her own quiet way by the help she freely gave them whenever she could. Those who knew and loved her think of her life and receive strength from the memory of her.
