Her name suits her well indeed, Gladys May Cyaroline, belter known as Glad. She ' s Glad the end of the world didn ' t come last summer, she is Glad she can sometimes find some one to ride the cyars with her on Sunday mornings, she is Glad she gets specials on Sunday afternoons. All of which proves that she has a sunshiny, sweet, and lovable disposition. Her artistic talent is marked and is reflected in her tasteful personal appearance. Ethel Dove Hamburg, Miss. PIANO Pliilomathean; Treasurer Philos .Secoiul Term 19; Philo Anniversarian ' 19: Cliahman of V. W. A.; Program Committee ' 20; Chorister B. Y. P. U. ' 21); Jlusiical Editor or Annual ' 20; President Special Class ' 19. Is there a heart that music cannot melt. Ethel, better known as Dovie. is another one of our Musical heroes. and is making two recitals in one year. She expresses her tenderest thoughts through the notes of the sweetest music. Ethel is nol a camouflage by any means, but she shows her real talent not only in piano but through the speech art world. She is taking a postgraduate work in this line. She talks of everything and everybody, but most particular Astor. Her social and conversational abilities and perpetual good humor make her welcome anywhere, at all times. B has made a fine record and we wish her all kinds of good luck in whatever line of work she may choose. Eunice Collins Sumrall, Miss. B.A. isors ' 20; Vice-President Hermenian Literary Society Society Second Term. A truer, nobler, trustier heart. More loving, or more lo]ial, never beat IVithin a human breast. Everybody loves Eunice. Why not? She is not the Happy-go-lucky kind, but the girl one likes to have for a friend. Her wit sparkles out when least expected. Eunice has made a brilliant record in school, which portends for her a brilliant future. Efficiency is her middle name, and if you need any further recommendation, we refer you to her teachers. She is reserved but not timid, and a good listener, but wh speaks, there is always an audience. Dear to everybody, conscientious to the superlative more and then just to be sure she ' ll pass, studying she plays as when she Edna Fort Gulfport, Miss. speech art Dramatic Club; Me Family; Poet of Ju A hig heart, always wishing to Jo right. And to he friendly with everybody Edna m her Her friends call her Baby, and her enemies — well, she hasn ' t any. If you wish to know whe is any time, look in the Speech Department and you are sure to find her there working Senior recital.
