Everybody loves Eunice. Why not? She is not the Happy-go-lucky kind, but the girl one likes to have for a friend. Her wit sparkles out when least expected. The piano is to her what the Jew ' s-harp is to the nigger, and much to Mr. Thickitun ' s delight, her taste runs to Chopin and Beethoven. However, she is not above playing a popular little ditty now and then. Besides being an accomplished musician, Lynn is a wonderfully likeable girl, charming both in manner and appearance. She ' s Glad the end of the world didn ' t come last summer, she is Glad she can sometimes find some one to ride the cyars with her on Sunday mornings, she is Glad she gets specials on Sunday afternoons.
