AND SO WE GROW New sights and sounds were prevalent around our school last spring when work began on the new athletic field and the outside bleachers., The William Campbell Boosters Club and patrons of the community gave their time, money, and effort to make this project possible. Members of the agricultural and shop classes gained experience by aiding in the construction of a fence surrounding the athletic grounds. Vibrant sounds of music came forth when the William Campbell High School Band marched and presented a program of music for our first pep rally held on September 16, 1966. Marching in front ofthe band were the newly organized majorettes. The band and majorettes worked hard during the summer months so they would be ready to perform for our football games. A familiar face in our faculty took a new position as principal this year. On October 15, 1966, Mr.Dennis B. Riddle succeeded Mr. James E. Strickler, who had been principal since the opening of the school. William Campbell has grown, is growing, and will continue to grow as long as there are stu- dents and teachers willing to promote this growth. g'k 1-ILJJQIZL EDITOR-IN-CHIEF TABLE OF CONTENTS ADMINISTRATION . . . . . 7 CLASSES . . . . . 27 ACTIVITIES . . . . 67 FEATURES . . . . 95 ATHLETICS . . . . 111 ADVERTISEMENTS . . . . 129 INDEX . . . . . 162 Students from Agriculture Classes aid inthe con- struction of our new athletic bleachers. 2
