MR. RIDDLE MAKES DECISIONS If at - l . . X .Q J -Q3 Mr. Riddle takes time out from his many duties as principal to pose for the photographer. Returning to civilian life after two years of service in the Navy, Mr. Riddle attended VPI where he earneda degree in agriculture. Graduating at the end of the winter quarter in 1950, he taught one semester in the Halifax County school system. That fall, he left Hali- fax County and took a position at Gladys High School where he taught agriculture for the school year 1950-51. When the three schools were consolidated in the fall of 1951, Mr. Rid- dle joined the teaching staff of the newly built William Campbell High School. Having served as a teacher in the Agriculture Department since its founding, Mr. Riddle is well acquaint- ed with the spirit of WC and with the students themselves. As principal, he sees that the school is run smoothly and that good student- teacher relationships are maintained. .leaning DENN B.
