SCIENCE 8 Buddy Montgomery, Barney Roakes, Caro- lyn Dowdy, Fred Harrison, and Bill Puck- ett are demonstrating to their teacher Mrs. Lucile Riggel that plants give off water and carbon dioxide when breathing and oxygen when manufacturing food. CHEMISTRY Mrs. Mrytle Straw assists her students Linda Kay Joy, Ella Zehr, Eddie Guthrie, and Travis Elliott in demonstratingthe method of producing oxygen gas and hydro- gen by electrolysis of water. Chemistry gives students a broader understanding of scientific facts in preparation for future vocations.
