Last Will and Testament HEREAS, it hath in former times been deemed by many to be of great importance for one leaving the scene of his former activities to make proper disposition of properties possessed by him, therefore we, the Senior Class of William Byrd High School, being of sound mind, on this the fourth day of June, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five in the Commonwealth of Virginia do hereby give and bequeath collectively and severally all our scholastic possessions as hereinafter enumerated: The Senior Class leaves to the Juniors the last two rows of seats in the audi- torium for use on assembly days. To Mr. Horn we leave all the money left in the treasury, on condition that it will be used to buy a hair tonic. To Miss Keister we leave all the ten per cents. taken off of our grades and the chewing gum will be found in any of the desks in Room 23. The graduating members of the Athletic Council gladly leave their places to anyone who might have any ideas on how to finance high school athletics. To Miss Marshall we leave our thanks for her working so patiently with the class. We leave our dignity and intellectual qualities to the Freshman Class.
