Winners of the Color Week contest sponsored by the Publications Department of Win. B. Travis were two sophomore advisories: Miss Elizabeth Lee’s and Miss Minnie Valdez’s. Color Week, when each student wears the school colors and advisories decorate their rooms, gives visual proof that Travis students want to “Beat Mac.” VALIANTLY GUARDING the victory bell at the “Mac” game are Ruth Ann Stringer and Diane Briggs. ‘Color Week’ Contest GAIL LEWIS, of Miss Elizabeth Lees sophomore homeroom, poses with the “Beat Mac” theme that won second place during Color Week. . 23
