Basic handy-man work can pro- gress to the building ot furniture, while in sewing, a girl can learn to stitch a straight seam and may even ultimately attempt constructing a dress over a Designer pattern - the tinal goal ot many seamstresses. Typing provides a quicker and more legible torm ot written self-expression and increases manual dexterity to sur- pass long hand . The use ot the body, well coordi- nated to perform an activity, is the product of training and thought com- bined -thus the necessity ot ed- ucating both mind and body.
