He believes that they should be recognized, not only for the fine job of teaching that they do, but also for the countless extra services they perform. The biggest responsibility, and perhaps the biggest headache, that a teacher must face is the joy of a register class. As a register teacher he must be not only an educator, but a diplomat, a bookkeeper, an executive and a mind-reader all rolled into one. Willie has helped to keep the school records in order by seeing that the register teachers keep careful account of their students which is no easy job. Each high school class has a group of sponsors which are teachers. Class activities could not be planned and carried out without the fine help of these sponsors. Willie tries to see that the students don't take advantage of the faculty, but it's hard for him to keep track of who is doing what. Willie never hears complaints from the many faculty members who are always sponsoring dances, giving special help, and lending a helping hand when the students need one. Willie and the entire student body say, Thanks for everything. INTERMEDIATE TEACHERS. BACK ROW: Mrs. Dorothy Berry, Mrs. Helen Conway. Dan Masters. John Carlson. Delores Guloboii. Mrs. Ann Shephard. Willie is meant to be the spirit of the Class of 1954 as well as the spirit of Wirt School. He is a cheerful, helpful, fun-loving Trooper just as are all of the students at Wirt. Willie was first brought to life on paper by Connie Lathrop and then, when Connie left, carried on by Jim Hackney, our art editor. Editor Marcena Owen worked diligently to see that all members of the staff carried out their assignments and that Willie got into no trouble. Evlyn Rhea, the business manager, saw to it that a selling staff of ten members of the class of 1954 really proved to be super-salesmen. Willie was pleased to see his friend Corky Coates lead all the rest in sales. The work really began when the pictures began to arrive. They had to be measured, trimmed, mounted, and labeled. Marcenia nearly went crazy trying to keep Willie out of the rubber cement. Margaret Kirby saw to it that the copy was written and then typed in proper form. Willie often punched the wrong keys and Veda would have to type a whole page over. Finally, however, the books were all put together and with crossed fingers mailed to our publisher. We had a swell time getting this book ready and, with Willie, we hope that you enjoy our book of memories. 27 Shifting Sands Editor ................... Sue Hoch Business Mgr.............. At the beginning of the school year, Willy and a group of his friends got together to put out a paper. Some of their predecessors had already named it the Shifting Sands (because it is written in their hang out, which is in the middle of a sand dune.) He and his friends were a little peeved, but that didn't bother Willy since he knew he would get better as time went on. In the month of October, the twenty-second and twenty-third, to be exact, Willy's guardian. Miss Armington, took him and some of his friends down to the convention, Indiana High School Press Association Convention at Franklin College, near Indianapolis. Everybody had a lot of fun and met some of the nicest people. They brought back a lot of new ideas to try to improve their paper to see if Willy's friends would like it any better. Along in November, his guardian, with the help of his friends, got him a new Smith-Corona typewriter with Gothic type to make it easier for him. After this surprise Willy really got down to work and the issues started to come out at more regular time periods. But still Willy didn't have a place to sleep, and without rest he couldn't do justice to both his school work and the paper. Finally his dad gave him one of the corners down in the school office where he could sleep and work in peace and quiet. In one of his new issues Willy got the idea of offering a chance for a prom bid by numbering each individual paper, drawing the number a couple of weeks before the prom. Guess who won!!! One of Willy's friends!!! By the end of the year Willy knew pretty much in the line of putting out a paper and it was really going good, but the time comes for all of us when we eventually receive our diplomas and go away from school on to better and harder things and new experiences. Carl Hollander was elected President, Sue Hoch, Vice-President, Delcy Magioudis, Secretary, and Margaret Kirby. Treasurer. In the month of March, new members were inducted. Kay Cox, Janet Laub, Jean Finerty, Marjory Brauer, Nancy Mettner, Dick Sikora, Lee Weis-iogel, Joe Penny, and A1 Dec were the new junior members. There was only one new senior member. He was Willie. A new plan was originated this year. A slip of paper is sent around to the teachers every grade period to check the members' standing. This way the student is informed if he or she is keeping up to standard. The year ended very successfully for the Honor Society. Willy and all the members hope that next year's will be just as successful. The Willy Whirl was held at the first pep session of the year. All new students and freshmen were introduced to the rest of the students. Then Willie drew the names of two of these new high school students and presented them with paid in full receipts for the 1954 Sandscript. The day of Homecoming a general assembly was held with Mrs. Greenwald as our speaker. After her talk Nancy Lustgarten presented her with a gift from the student body. Willie wiped tears from his eyes, as did Mrs. Greenwald, because he was so thrilled. After Willie had nearly been trampled to death on the stairs, Janet Quick and the traffic committee established the stair guards to help keep order. Then it was decided that it would be a good idea to have the flag raising service each morning as some of the other schools do. Willie talked to Mr. Bell who agreed to furnish us a bugler each morning. We are very proud of our ceremony. Sally Kichukoff and Delcy Magoudis represented us at meetings of the City-Wide Student Council. The main job of th's council was to set up the S.O.S. Humanity Drive. The members of the council and Willie collected the money from the milk bottles each day and soon had a large amount to turn in to the City-Wide Council. We were also represented at the Lake Country Association of Student Councils by Carl Hollander and Sally Kichukoff. Willie, of course, went along when he heard there were to be dinner meetings. This council's job is to improve relationships among the schools of the county. Then came the biggest event of the year—The McVout Soiree. The W.S.O., the P.T.A., the students, the faculty, the cooks and the janitors worked as real troopers to put on the best carnival ever. Willie almost burst with pride when he saw the huge crowd and all the money they spent. In the spring meetings with the faculty committees to discuss season ticket sales, the inter-communication system, and register meetings together with the planning of the Annual Awards Day and the installation of new officers for 1954-55 took up all of our extra time. Willie says that we can look back on a fine year of co-operation and friendly feeling. FRONT ROW: J. Weiss. A. Ayers. I. Allmansburger. W. Carlson, G. Teegarden. SECOND ROW: J. Weill, D. Magioudis. Willie is immensely proud of these fine students. At the time this book goes to press not all of those who will win contests are known. We can only tell about those who are pictured above. No doubt many more will be honored before the year ends. At the Band and Vocal Contests Charles Meyette, Bob Klein, Karl Koepke. Donald Meyette, Judy Romig, Carol Dayson, Lois Smith, Barbara Clark, Alan Gilbert, At the Band and Vocal Contests Charles Meyette, Jon Cremer, John Ballard, Alan Gilbert, Judy Romig, Mickey Shlens, and Karl Koepke won in both the district and the state contest. Also winners in the district contest were Don Meyette, Don Letica, Jack Ojala, and Carol Dayson. From the vocal department at the same contest, winners were Bob Klein, Jon Cremer, Barbara Clark, and Marlena Dartz. Named to the All-Conference first team was Ted Stahura and to the All-Conference Second Team were Tom Hatrak and Jack Harvey. Gordie Teeguar-den, Warren Bardsley, Ora Wildermuth, Paul Oates, and Emery Shaffer were given All-Conference Honorable Mentions. Willie just about burst when he read of all these things in the paper. We wish we knew all the scholarship winners, basketball All-Conference members, citizenship a-ward winners, but as Willie says, you can write them in for yourselves in the spring. 36 FAMILY LIVING: A. Through the years Willie has seen his friends win many awards for their outstanding work in vocal music. This year Bob Klein and Jon Cremer won gold medal awards in the Vocal Contest. Silver medal awards were won by Barbara Clark and Marlena Dartz in the same contest. Willie was by their sides through every piece. During the past year the chorus sang for the beautiful Christmas pageant and then two days later sang Christmas carols in the halls. Willie loved the idea of singing in the halls just before the holidays arrived. Willie and his friends worked very hard on Mrs. Lee's Spring Vocal Concert. The last appearance of the chorus for the 1953-'54 year was at commencement. The chorus sounded sweeter than ever to those of the Senior class who were leaving their places in it to next year's students. FIRST ROW: N. Tomerlin. E. Mullen. M. Johnson, B. Dodds, M. Weiger, A. The first serious project undertaken was a half hour radio program on WWCA as a part of the series presented during Education Week. The program was tape recorded on the recording facilities in Lew Wallace's speech department, and it was almost more than Miss Labb could take trying to keep Willie quiet and everyone else on cue. With a successful recording it was decided that the panel discussion would be presented at a Rotary Luncheon, November 12, which made Willie very happy, for this was another day out of classes. Immediately work began on The First Noel which was this year's Christmas Pageant. It is now safe to say that it was Willie who put the picture of Marilyn Monroe in the manger which made it hard for Joseph to stand still and it was no one else but Willie who would give the three wise men a shove and make them out of step with the music. Willie did Drove to be useful after all, as he held the cold dream in one hand while hanging up costumes with the other. Willie became strangely absent during the weeks following Christmas vacation, no one knows yet if it was too much turkey or the work that was being done on speeches for the various speech contests. Though the minute work began on the Lamp Went Out, the melodrama chosen to be given at the McVout Soiree, Willie was back and helping to make things generally confused. Work began on the three act comedy I'll Leave It to You, and Willie couldn't understand why he didn't get the lead but was finally content just seeing that the costumes were pressed and that all the props were in place. He admitted that he couldn't have learned the lines anyway, and occupied himself by standing very still behind the curtains with script in hand, just in case. He would always say, You never know when my big chance might come! SEATED: C. Smith. S. Hoch. D. Holmes. R. White. STANDING: J. Timmons. E. Tsoutsouris, M. Shlens, T. Eikenbery, A. Thiel, M. The students were still eating tamales the day after the dance. Willie had never tasted anything quite so good and ate more than his share. The Spanish Club is an organization of the stu- dents who are enrolled in the Spanish Classes. All of the club meetings take place within the class hours and of course are conducted in Spanish. Willie attended a meeting one afternoon and could not understand a single word anyone said. However he said everyone had a wonderful time and loved being able to carry on a conversation in a foreign language. STANDING: T. Tsoutsouris. J. Gee. K. Cox. M. Lewis. Mrs. Wendt. A. Theil, W. Two important money making activities at Wirt School are the magazine drive and the candy sale. The magazine drive this year was headed by Jean Finerty, of course, with Willie's help. The profits from this drive will go to support next year's annual. Willie was very useful on drive committees because he knew how to use the adding machine. The candy sale each noon helps us raise money for the Miller-Wirt Community Service Fund. Willie has worked every day behind the counter and says that there is always a rush. CANDY SELLERS: D. Camera Club The Camera Club, with the assistance of their sponsor Mr. Meneakis and Willie, made hundreds of pictures this year. They made Christmas cards, took pictures at the McVout Soiree and for the annual, and made many pictures for their own mem- bers. At the beginning of the year Mr. Bell, with the assistance of Willie, put on grand performances at the football games. They were specially sharp as they put on the marching exhibition between the halves of the Homecoming Game. Willie really strutted his stuff in his fine uniform. About this time Willie learned to roller skate and so he suggested to Mr. Bell that the band have a skating party each month for all of the kids who liked to skate or would like to learn. Willie, of course, fell down quite a lot at first but Don Letica, our Drum Major, was always close to pick him up. They brought home sixty-seven medals out of sixty-eight entries. The winners then went to Butler University in Indianapolis to compete in the state contest. Charles Meyette won a first in the state contest with his clarinet solo. Willie and the band made their last public appearances in the month of May with a concert at Seaman Hall and a long march on Memorial Day. Willie could hardly read his music at commencement time because of the tears in his eves. He hated to think of having to leave the band, but when he was handed his diploma and Mr. Bell smiled at him he knew there were other things ahead for all the graduating band members. 47 G. A. A. Willie says the object of G.A.A. is to train girls in enjoying leisure time activities, for school days and after school days, and to develop a democratic spirit by learning to work and play in groups. He also says that membership is open to any girl who has earned 100 points in any one sponsored activity of the G.A.A. and that the girl will be considered a member when she has been formally initiated into the organization. The first big event of the year was the hay-ride on October 17. Each class had its own wagon. Wee Willie was on hand playing cupid and flattening tires to make the ride last longer. Then the wallball season started. Games were held every night after school. Although Willie was constantly on hand with his doctor kit, the only time he got to use it was on Miss Sharp when she fell while demonstrating how to play the game. Then Willie helped the Sophomores initiate the Freshmen and the other new girls into the organization. The initiates wore costumes of the Charleston period. Some even dared have skirts above their knees. Willie stuffed himself at the potluck in the cafeteria and then with the officers of the G.A.A. performed the formal initiation by candlelight. On Tuesday, November 2, Willie had another feast. There was a dinner for the board members from Horace Mann and Wirt. The menu was spaghetti with Willie entangled. Willie helped us plan the Christmas Dance and the Water Show after dinner. Every Monday and Wednesday nights Willie went swimming with us at the Horace Mann pool. For awhile there was recreational swimming, but soon we began to practice for the swimming show. Willie's job was to help Jean Ellen perfect her act. With Christmas around the corner Willie met with Horace Mann and decided to have the Christmas Dance on December 19. On the nineteenth Willie came with his ladder and decorated the tree with tinsel. Then he put snowflakes on the walls of the Naval Armory and a Magic Genie to carry out the theme of the dance, Crystal Magic. Then Willie, dressed in his best finery, came and had a wonderful time at the dance. Then wallball was over and we started playing basketball. This time it was different from previous years; we had a tournament among the classes. The Seniors had Willie on their team and it looked the best, but with a few bad breaks and kids taking off for Florida, we lost. The Juniors won the tournament. Then the biggest and best event of the year took place. It was the water show with the theme, Sailing From Port To Port. It lasts five days. Willie went from country to country almost drowning before he got back to Gary. His ear drums were nearly broken by the applause he received. To climax the year we had our annual banquet with Horace Mann. Everyone had been starving themselves for days and when the big moment came, Willie really ate because it would be the last feast until next year. Trophies and letters were presented and Willie entertained us. Then Willie saw the Seniors from G.A.A. graduate and he watched them leave with a tear in his eye remembering all the fun we had had. 48 G. A. A. BOARD. L to R: S. Nash. S. Quint. N. Mettner. J. W Club Willie was on hand at the first W Club meeting when the members elected Gordon Teeguarden, President; Tom Hatrak, Vice-President; Albert Dec, Secretary, and Ora Lee Wildermuth, Treasurer. The W Club consists of all athletes who have earned a major letter in any of our main sports. The club meets for the purpose of creating better school spirit, working together on projects of school importance and helping our athletes to strive for good sportsmanship. The first activity of the Club was a dinner given for the Burney basketball players. Willie was there to make sure that everyone had enough to eat. One of the main events of the year for the W Club was taking over the Spook House at the McVout Soiree. Willie checked every detail to make sure that it would be a huge success. The last and biggest event of the season was the In and Out Games Night. At the dance following the games Willie made sure that there were no wall-flowers and that everyone had a good time. In Willie's diary he has written that this was the W Club's best year. 52 Cheerleader Sharon Quint, Rose Ann Tillett, Sally Kichukoff, Delaine Clapp, and Nitra Tomerlin made up our cheerleading squad. Nitra was captain. Willie got together with Miss Sharp and they decided to have dances after the football games. The money from the dances went for new basketball cheerleading outfits. Along came the time of Willie's life—the Homecoming game and dance. All of us worked hard but Willie sure worked the hardest. Willie was the one that ordered the Queen's flowers and climbed the ladder to decorate the goal posts. As the year progressed, Nitra left and Willie was left in charge. We then gained a cheerleader from the reserves named Carol Dayson. By Carol moving up that left Jean Carr and Edith Kilboume on the reserve squad. We completed our year of cheering at the sectionals. Willie and the girls took a much needed rest after a wonderful year of games and cheering. It looked bad in the Troopers' first outing as they went down before a rough Goshen eleven—16-6. Tom Hatrak, one of Willie's buddies, saved the Troopers from a white wash as he dashed twenty-two yards for the Troopers' only score. Then Willie turned the tables as the Troopers came up against Dyer and coasted to a 25-7 victory. The Troopers first score came when another one of Willie's friends, Warren Bardsley went off left tackle to dash twenty yards into the Dyer end zone. The Troopers kept on the march as Tom Hatrak went over from the two yard line twice with little trouble, also scoring the extra point on one. The highlight of the game however was a spectacular sixty yard dash for a touchdown by Trooper Larry Smith. Victory was spelled out again when Willie defeated East Gary Edison 13-0. This was the first time srnce 1948 that the Troopers had won two in a row. The scoring was done by Tom Hatrak on an off tackle play and Paul Oates on an end run followed by Hatrak's extra point. Willie and his friends really whooped it up when they took on Howe Military school and romped to a 33-19 win. Scoring was done by Jack Kelly on runs of sixty yards. The extra points were scored by Jerry Allmansburger, Tom Hatrak and Larry Smith. Then came the worst part of the season for Willie as his friends lost to Gary Edison, Merrillville, Griffith, and tied with Portage 13-13. Really Willie is very proud of his friends that helped win the games and supported him when he was on the losing side of the fence. He says he couldn't have done it without the help of everyone. Among our next eleven games there were many heartbreakers; such as Portage 42-40, Hobart 47-45, and Gary Edison 49-43. Finally after much help and work from Willie the day came that we had all been waiting for, our first win! The score was 58-38 over Burney. We then rallied over Dyer 56-41. After this we played a highly rated Howe team and upset them 48-42. In the sectional we drew East Gary Edison. In a fast, close game we were defeated 50-46. Willie wiped away his tears and said that we'd be back next year. The reserves finished their season with a fine conference record of 6 wins and 2 losses. The entire season record was 12 wins and 9 losses. The school has something to look forward to with the tall, fast, and experienced sophomores coming up. 1953-'54 Record We Opp. 45 — Chesterton 50 31 — Tolleston 42 48 — Griffith 75 55 — St. Joseph 65 45 — East Gary 54 40 — Portage 42 39 — Froebel (Hoi. ACTION SHOTS Track The track season of 1954 has not begun as this book goes to press, but Willie assures us it will be a real success. It certainly looks like a good season with Tom Hatrak to run the 100-yard dash and to pole vault, Dennis Holmes to run the 100 and 220 yard dashes, lack Bryant and Mike Jennings to run the high and low hurdles, Ted McVay to put the shot, Corky Coates to run the mile, Richard Dolenar and Bob Barnes to run the half-mile, Ed Cohn and Larry Smith to do the broad-jumping, and Tom Hebert, Karl Koepke, and Jack Kelly to run the 880. On the relay teams we will have Tom Hatrak, Dennis Holmes, Barry Smith, and Ed Cohn in the half mile, and Jack Kelly, Karl Koepke, Tom Hebert, and Don Mey-ette in the mile. Of course, Willie will be there to give them that extra shove for the final lap. During the season we will compete in the City In-Door Meet, the Calumet Conference Meet, the City Out-Door Meet, the Goshen Relays, and the Sectionals. We will also meet Portage, Chesterton, Calumet Township, and Griffith in dual meets. 1ST ROW: T. Hebert, J. Bryant, T. Smith. J. Ballard. I. Upscher. R. Barnes. 2ND ROW: R. Gielland. T. McVay. E. Rhea Wee Willie was on hand for the first day of our freshman year. Nobody but our class members could see him. He was our spirit, the spirit of Wirt. His spirit and great ideas sure helped with the success of both of our dances, the St. Patrick's Day Dance and the Freshman Frolic. He was there too when the freshman girls had the first crazy initiation in years. He saw them bow and scrape to their masters. He also saw Elmer Mueller (and gave him a shove) as he sold a high of 80 tickets to the Miller Booster Carnival. He was there when the freshman football team was undefeated. His chest was kind of puffed out right then. He was in the footlights and behind the curtains when they rose for the plays, The Little Green Goddess and The Christmas Guest. Willie was there again when we opened our door to high school year Number Two. Willie was perched on Gordie's shoulder when he started off the football season with a concussion at Gary Edison. Oh! How Willie's head did ache (not to mention Gordie's). Our Snowball Dance was a success that year, too. But naughty Willie was up in the balcony unfastening the blue covering on the spot light just as fast as anyone could fix it. He did help, though, when the girls put the sparkle on the programs. The day our class met to see the new class rings, Willie was on stage, polishing the samples. We were the first sophomores to order rings. The thing that Willie hates to think of, was when Elmer and Ted caught muskrats and brought them to Biology, We had to cut them open. Biology classes were right before lunch and right afterward. Willie will never forgive those boys! In Mrs. Wendt's class we read Julius Caesar. The motto of the year was Friends, Romans, and Countrymen. Willie had to get ear plugs! The year ended with good-byes. All of us had passed. We were upper-classmen! September rolled around again, and the school doors opened. It seemed funny to have lockers on the third floor. Willie got all worn out going from first floor to third every hour. Somehow he managed to survive. The magazine drive was initiated. Despy Magioudis was the chairman, and we were all proud and happy when we found out that our class had sold more magazines than any other class. Delaine Clapp was voted homecoming attendant, and rode around in a convertible. Paul and Gordie made Honorable Mention All-Conference. The King and Queen Dance was given by us, too. Flowers were given to all the royalty. Willie tried on Paul Scher-schel's crown and because Willie's head was so swollen with pride at the success of the dance, it didn't fit. Driver's training was given to the juniors for the first time. It was all Willie could do to stay in his seat when some of the jokers got behind the wheel. We figured that he wanted to be with us through thick and thin. The Senior Farewell was given in June. The walls were decorated with caps and all the sen'ors' names in red and white. Fake diplomas were given out as programs. Favors in the form of flowers were given out also. All seniors were formally invited and were admitted free. It was a good and new idea and the dance was a success. The last and best event of the year was the day when report cards were given out. We were SENIORS!!! Wo all had a SENIOR beach party that lasted all day and part of the night. Willy curled up and took a nap and got a sunburn. He wasn't as excited as we were. He knew our eventual outcome. He knew, he waited, and he slept. The last and best September came eventually. We were all very excited! At last we could count the months to the end! Willie was sad however. He thought that when we graduated, we would forget all about him. But I ask you, who could forget such a loyal and true friend? Finally we convinced him and he was his happy self again. The first thing that happened was the organization of Annual Staff. Willie got all stuck up in the rubber cement and it took the patience of Miss Armington to get him free from the muck. Miss Armington was a fine sport about the whole thing. She didn't even mind when Willie was naughty in Miss Crawford's class and we had to stay over. She scolded him but then turned her head and winked at one of us. The day that stands out was when Janet Dumas was elected Homecoming Queen. She really hadn't expected it, and almost cried. It impressed Willie to the core. As Jerry gave her the roses Willie silently wiped a tear from his eye. Homecoming would never be like this again. Why there wasn't a couple there that Willie didn't dance with. Although we lost the Homecoming game, everyone was happy because our boys had really tried. The best part of the football season was the fact that we at long last broke a losing streak. A new traffic system was introduced this year, too. Willie got the brain storm, and with Mr. Scheub's consent, and Janet Quick's spunk, the Stairguards were originated. Wille flew around making sure everyone was walking single file. He reported some people to make them realize that he meant business. The royalty streak in Janet Dumas kept reappearing. She was chosen Queen of the class for the King and Queen Dance. Paul Oates was the King. Willie had wanted to be King, but when he found out Paul was, he didn't complain. Soon came the end of the first semester. When we came back, all the excitement was headed toward the 5th annual McVout Soiree. All the booths were swamped by people. Miss Soiree was Janet Quick, and Mr. McVout was Len Bannister. Willie was again disappointed when he didn't get to be Mr. McVout, but he got over it. Then lucky Willie got on the train to Washington for free. He still hadn't decided who he would room with. I think he ended up with Mr. Nabhan. He was really impressed with the sights we saw in Washington. When we came back, Willie was exhausted but there was no rest for him or for any senior. It was May, the last month of school. Everyone was busy with cramming, reviewing, and working to get everything in order for the close of school. Willie helped plan the Senior Banquet. He was so excited that he forgot to order a plate for himself, and so he had to eat from everyones' plate. He especially liked Miss Crawford's plate, so she didn't quite get her share. The prom came and Willie went to it. He liked to watch the couples in the grand march. And although he hadn't brought anyone and so couldn't find a place in the line, he had a good time on the side lines watching his friends. When Convocation came, Willie had his cap and gown on, like all other seniors in the city. He marched down the street on the shoulders of Sue Hoch, Valedictorian, and Despy Magioudis, Salutatorian. He wanted it to be said that although he was no brain, he had sat on the shoulders that held the smartest heads in the class. At Baccalaureate, Willie sat in the front row as he watched the minister give his sermon. He liked the idea of having more than one faith represented, and was content to sit and watch the proceedings. He glanced around and caught the seriousness on everyone's face and knew that they were all mature young people who would never forget this moment in their lives. Graduation Day came at last. As Willie saw the seniors march up the steps at Memorial Auditorium, he was proud. He'd seen them growing up, getting mad at teachers, and work, but always pushing forward with one objective in their mind. He saw them growing up into adulthood. He watched them and smiled a sad little smile. It was all over, their four year adventure. No, he remembered, they wouldn't forget him. He would always be there. He was the spirit of their class, no matter how old they were. 83 C. Coats. VicePres.; D. Magioudis. Sec.; J. Dumas. Treas Mr. Nabhan. Miss Magrames. and Miss Huber Crawford, and Miss Sharp.
