c camera I his year the Camera Club was started and Mr. Meneakis agreed to sponsor it. Besides taking and developing their own personal pictures, Mr. Meneakis taught his members the fundamentals of photography, such as mixing chemicals and producing different lighting effects. During November and December the club made Christmas cards for members. January and February they worked on Annual pictures, also during February they took portraits and crazy pictures at the McVout Soiree. The officers of the club are President, A. King; Vice-President, D. Gibson; and Treasurer, N. Christoff. The movie operators, also sponsored by Mr. Meneakis, are a valuable service group in our school. Without their unfailing help we probably would not have had many helpful movies. CAMERA CLUB Seated First Row: D. Mag-ioudis, J. Yohe, T. Sta-hura, D. DeMichele. Second Rrow: S. Hoch, D. The “W” Club has just been re-organized since its former start many years ago. I his year R. Allen was elected President; I). Spangler, Vice-President; R. Knapp, Treasurer; and K. Allen, Secretary. The “W” Club has not had a chance to do much due to its late start this year. Its plans for the future are big. Some of the activities the W Club members have pushed this past semester with great success were the VV Club activity night, where the Wirt Faculty played the Senior Regiment a basketball game amid much hilarity and confusion; the various Field projects such as paper drives, scrap drives, bake sales, and the Wirt Booster-Faculty softball game. There is no end to the good that this club can do in the line of sportsmanship as well as recreation and moral standards. Page Twenty Four
