RICHARD SCHEUB Came to us from Valparaiso University to substitute for Mr. Hat-rak and stayed to take Mr. Nuzum'S place as our high school social studies teacher. MRo. CAROLYN TIPTON Came to take over the third grade at the beginning of the second semester. MR. ANDREW HATRAK Not a newcommer at all but an old friend who was not here to have his picture taken with the rest of the faculty early last fall. MR. WILLIAM YURIN Came to us from I'urdue University to teach driver training. We had to share him two-thirds of the day with Froebel School. NABBIE’S BABY Our very youngest addition. Page Twenty Three

Earlandson, Mr. Paloncy, R. Dolenar, and D. Thews. The Future Teachers Corps is one of the well known service organizations of our school. The students involved are those who are interested in teaching. Miss Huber, the faculty adviser for the group, does a wonderful job in organizing their programs. Mr. Paloncy’s shop students are always on call to make or do things for the teachers or the classrooms. This year one of their nicest contributions was the pair of rostrums they made for the auditorium department, and we certainly can’t overlook their effort and great success in the McVout Soiree. The “W” Club has just been re-organized since its former start many years ago. I his year R. Allen was elected President; I). Spangler, Vice-President; R. Knapp, Treasurer; and K. Allen, Secretary. The “W” Club has not had a chance to do much due to its late start this year. Its plans for the future are big. Some of the activities the W Club members have pushed this past semester with great success were the VV Club activity night, where the Wirt Faculty played the Senior Regiment a basketball game amid much hilarity and confusion; the various Field projects such as paper drives, scrap drives, bake sales, and the Wirt Booster-Faculty softball game. There is no end to the good that this club can do in the line of sportsmanship as well as recreation and moral standards. Page Twenty Four
