A paper drive was held at the beginning of the year. The new band sponsors sold Christmas cards and also had a cake walk at Miller School. The main project of the year was the sponsoring of the Indiana University Band given at Memorial Auditorium on March 26. The annual Spring Concert was enjoyed by everyone, and it proved that the hand is improving every year. The band participated in several parades. The hand officers are, President, K. Allen; Vice-President, I). Glasford; Secretary, J. Romig; Treasurer, P. Scherschel; and Librarian, D. Magioudis. 'ugc Twenty

Newton, Secretary; and C. Hiestand, Treasurer. I he highlight of the year was the annual spring mother-daughter-faculty tea. Under the sponsorship of our school librarian, Miss Magrames, the club had an unusually good year. P. K. P. The members of P.K.P. had their election of officers last spring. Those elected were: M. Bohman, President; L. Newton, Vice-President; S. Wilds, Secretary; and J. Romig, Treasurer. The organization had many activities during the year. First on the calendar was the initiation of new members. They were attired in shorts, shirts, and other weird costumes, for the informal initiation, which lasted for one week. At the conclusion of this period, a formal initiation was held. The biggest event of the year was the annual Snow Murry Dance, held at the Naval Armory. Refreshments were served, and all had a delightful time dancing to the music of Alan Isley’s band. BOOK CLUB Sitting: J. Ramos, E. Barde-son, L. Newton, J. Quint, C. Hiestand, J. Quigley, J.
