Contest Winners Every year we have many people enter contests of various types. We always have great numbers of winners. To them this page is given with our thanks for representing William A. and Mr. Scheub, were introduced to the student body. The Willy Whirl Dance was given in honor of the freshmen and new students. Trooper Topics were given to them. The McVout Soriee on February 22, was a complete success with the entire community helping. Students worked in art, sewing, shop and food classes. Others bought white elephants that were for sale at the carnival. The parents sent objects for sale and worked during the evening for different organizations of the school. The council enjoyed the luncheon Exchange Experience Emerson held. Student councils of the Gary High Schools were represented. As we go to press the W.S.O. is planning the annual Awards Day and Memorial Day programs and will hold the elections for next years officers.
