As this school year passes from us, we shall have many friends pass from us also. Although they may be gone, their memory still lingers with us. The 1965-66 Roundup has been published to retain this memory of our friends, activities. and faculty of our high school year. This year has been a victory for some, while yet, it was a defeat for others. Becoming an A class school raised our standards, as well as our competition. As a united student body we met this challenge and while there remained improve- ment we achieved many honors through this year. The seniors will leave WHS, but will be replaced with new seniors, Even though we leave, we will still remember our years of education, but also remember our role as an individual who still leams from others around us. The Roundup staff has worked hard, with extra hours on their own, but these hours are indeed small when we remember we are recording history for WHS. The staff hopes our students enjoy the Roundup as much as we enjoyed gathering the infomation for its contentsr God Bless You All J ofYa4z' Joanna Hart Editor Ng: . I ,. Throughout the years, Mr. Williams has gone about the WHS campus cleaning the rooms, picking up the grounds, and making repairs when necessary, making our school as comfortable and attractive to the out- sider's eyes as it is to our own. We thank you, Mr. Williams, for though you are seldom seen, your presence is felt by the students and we appreciate your part in making our school 2- what it is today It is to you we dedicate our annual i me
