Mr. Eikenberry gave years of service to WHS before his retirement in 1965. In 1937, he came to Willcox and taught science, Spanish and directed the orchestra. He served as principal - superintendant for 19 years and then became the Spanish teacher we all re- member. We not only learned about the Spanish language, but also the people and the customs of the Spanish-speaking coun- tries from the stories and pic- tures of his extensive travels.
