Mr, Eikenberry The Student Council, a representative group of the student body, is comprised of the student body officers Cthe president, vice-president and secretory-treasurer this year also represented the Senior Classy and two council members from each of the other four classes, The Council this year has served not only as a representative group but also as a Smdent Court, At the beginning of the year an Honor Code was established which served as the foundation of the court. This is a new achievement in student body goverment in Willcox High School and has proved very successful. The Council also formulated regulations and enforced their provisions. The student body president attended the annual President's C'onven- tion in Yuma, where he took an active part in the discussion and debates. They considered vital problems confronting the student governing bodies in the state. Many new ideas were brought up, and some of them have proved very successful. Next yee.r's convention will be held in Flagstaff. The Council also selected the cheer leaders for school activities instead of having a class competition to determine them. Jean Maddox and Constance Colanan handled these duties this year. This year under the efficient and capable leadership of Melvin ' Masilko and his co-workers student goverment in Willcox High School has reached a new high in honor, success and achievanent. We sincerely hope it will continue to enjoy it and even greater success in the fufure,
