AND DIVERSIONS FAMILY POTLUCK NIGHT Parents, friends, and teachers of the new 7th graders shared dinner in November during an evening sponsored by the 7th grade parents ' Orientation Committee. WINTER MUSIC FESTIVAL AND TELEVISION APPEARANCE The Music Department of Willard, which is headed by Mrs, Grissom, presented a Winter Music Festival in December. The Festival in- cluded instrumental presenta- tions by the Willard Band, un- der the direction of Mr, Elliott and the Jazz Band under the di- rection of Mr. Hardymon of Longfellow School. The program also included a performance by the Gospel Choir lead by Mr. Harper, Music Consultant to the school. The Gospel Chorus was seen on the TV special entitled The Young Sound of Christmas which was hosted by Dick Cavett. DONKEY BASKETBALL GAME
