J A a 3 iaqjusL Willard girls this semester enjoyed a program of activities planned by the Girls ' League. A Big Sister Party, basketball game, and athletic award party were the social highlights of the term. The girls felt the most worthwhile project was the assistance they provided for girls to go to the fair. The activities were carried on under the leadership of Janet Chick, President; Betty Phillips, Vice-President, and Martha Montgomery, Secretary. Mrs. Johnson was faculty advisor. Members of the Girls ' League Council were: Low Seventh, Zola Gustafson, Edna Louise Marcom and Barbara Sprott; High Seventh, Colleen Brooks, Lois Elkner, Patsy Linforth, Myrna Montgomery and Julia Wood; Low Eight, Mary Eijima, Eleanor Latell, Mary Patterson and Nancy Shenon; High Eight, Janet Bliss, Nancy Hambly, Edith Lomprey, Eleanora Neilson and Barbara Smart; Low Ninth, Jean Bailor, Nola Hansen, Janet MacDonald and Polly Typaldos; High Ninth, Ruth Caine, Ruth Jee, Virginia Kerns, Barbara Oellerich, Jean Richards and Jane Wilson. Boip. l ' ocialwn. The Willard Boys ' Association had a program of interesting activities for the boys. Scholarship Club members are selected by a point-scoring system based upon the number of A ' s and B ' s received by each student during the semester. Those pupils whose total scores are between 95 and 100 are members of the Senior Club; those whose scores are between 90 and 95 are members of fhe Junior Club. Mrs. Denny was faculty advisor for these clubs.
