ADMINISTRATION JH For the past three years I have been pleased the overall progress made by our student body. This year I consider the best year however, due to the many accomplishments on the part of students and staff. These achievements will be noted elsewhere in this book, but I take as much pride in them as the people receiving the honors. Willard students, as all of Norfolk is beginning to realize, are the leaders in Norfolk City Schools ow and will be the leaders in the community in 'ce future. - W. T. Powell, Assistant Principal . F-iw, p, Although all of my time spent at Willard Jr. High School has been enjoyable, this year has been the most rewarding. We have made progress in a number of areas and I have noticed a definite improvement in the attitudes and cooperation of our students. Ray F. Rollins, V Principal ls'-1, Fellow Trojans: I take great pride in saying that this has been one of the best years that I have experienced at Willard Junior High. We have a competent, dedi- cated, and loyal faculty and staff. Most of all, I am proud of the student body which, I feel is the best and most deserving one in our school system. Let's keep up the good work. C. D. Kelly, Administrative Assistant

DEDICATIC Mr. Robert Bunting One of the most helpful teachers at Willard is Mr. Bunting, the head of the math department. He has been at Willard three years and has been teaching ten years. Mr. Bunting graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. He likes Willard very much and enjoys teaching Algebra. Mr. Bunting encourages his students with this slogan, do your homework, work as hard as you can and do your bestf, Mr. Bunting has three sons, Bobby, 6, Bill, 3, and David, 2. Some of his favorite things include fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and golf. He is a member of Saint Andrews Episcopal Church. P.S. Pie are not square! !! Mrs Angelo has taught eighth grade English at Willard for four years. Her influence as a teacher and human being is hard to forget. Most of her former students agree that a teacher like her comes along only once in a lifetime. Mrs. Angelo and her son Matthew, who is 756 years old, live in Virginia Beach. She attends Community Chapel Church. In her spare time Mrs. Angelo is an avid reader and a nutrition enthusiast. She went to college at Adelphi University in Gar- den City, New York. She later attended Old Domin- ion University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English. In our humble opinion, Mrs. Angelo is the great- est! '
