A school is action. Always moving, never static. The act of learning moves our minds in many directions. A movingpencil, a report, a grade card, and a correct answer moves the student closer to graduation. Student life is active. Foots- ball, loaslcetloall, loaseloall, track, and golf bring a joyous roar from devoted fans when their team appears and a loyal feeling that prevails during the Alma Mater. A burst of energy, courage, strength and endurance, shapes the athlete. The final effort, sues- cess or failure, is always given hy Wl-IS athletes. Satisfaction of achievement stimulates participation in WHS organizations. Athletes find the Varsity W clulo a worthwhile group experience. Girls find Pep clulo and GAA an outlet for stored energy.
