Whisler, a well-known physician of Willard, was a living example of the good citizen who helps to keep democ- racy and its freedoms alive, l-le was active in many local lodges and organizations. Students of Willard High for nearly twenty years remember Dr, Whisler as a loyal attendant at all the foot- ball games. His heart was in every game, for he served as time- keeper and team doctor even after severe illness. To us, his memory will live as an incentive to continue to uphold the standards of good sportsmanship and of playing the game fair. 5
