enior arid of 1954 I L There were laughter and tears as the largest class ever to grad-from Willamette High said their good-bys to the old familiar surroundings of the past four years. They can look back and truthfully say the last was a very successful year starting with the Christmas play Scrooge and the Snoball dance held during the holi- days. The class play We Shook the Family Tree was the big project of the year with almost everyone contributing their time and talent. Since the class was so large the Senior Banquet and Dance was held in the Caforium. A -cw 1.2 Officers for the year were Bruce Mortensen, Lowell Slick and Carol Crabtree. ln the spring they had the annual Senior Luncheon and during the last days of school the Senior Class Day was held. The most memorial of all were the Baccalaureate and Graduation exercises which were both held in the auditorium. These events will remain tucked away in everyone's memory. Those who lead the class through the final year Lowell Slick, presidentg Bruce Mortensen, vice-presidentg Joyce Royster, secretary, and Carol Crabtree, treasurerg with Gertrude Schoeler, Ed Hinckley and Tom Turn- bull, advisors.
