Rendering services to the school is the purpose of the Service Club which was organized four years ago. Some of the duties of members are setting up chairs for assemblies and watching the lunch line. Officers for the year were Jim Martin presi- dent, Clarence Fleshman, vice-president and Ed- ward Hinckley, adviser. The Hi-Y is a newly organized club for iun- ior high boys. They helped set up chairs in the caforium, took swimming trips and functioned like a service club in general. Officers for the year were: Paul Nickolsen, president Loren Lengacher, vice-president, Dan Tweedie, secretoryg Jim Olsen, treasurer, Fred Cassity, Sergeant of arms, and Forrest Hadsall, adviser. The Lettermen's club consists of boys who have lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track. They assisted with the parking area and handling of reserved section at basketball games. This year the officers were: Richard Elliott, president, Clarence Fleshman, vice-presi- dent, Bernell Fitch, secretary, Martin Hansen, treasurer. The Spanish Club was host to other schools at their annual Tertulia Dec. 3. They were kept busy with potluck suppers and assemblies in ad- dition to sending a box of supplies to a school in San edro, Mexico, They also attended the Pon American Banquet at Eugene High School.
