The Lettermen's club consists of boys who have lettered in football, basketball, baseball and track. They assisted with the parking area and handling of reserved section at basketball games. This year the officers were: Richard Elliott, president, Clarence Fleshman, vice-presi- dent, Bernell Fitch, secretary, Martin Hansen, treasurer. The Spanish Club was host to other schools at their annual Tertulia Dec. 3. They were kept busy with potluck suppers and assemblies in ad- dition to sending a box of supplies to a school in San edro, Mexico, They also attended the Pon American Banquet at Eugene High School. Off- icers tor the year were: Allen Berntzen, presi- dent, Norma Scadding, vice-president, Lorraine Toebe, secretary, Nancy Jensen, corresponding secretary, Joyce Goldsworthy, and Paul.ne Layne, adviser. The objective ofthe Senior and Junior High Girls' Leagues are to promote friendship and to provide social activi- ties for the student body. Among their many contributions to the school the Senior High Girls' League has sponsored two assemblies, Twirp Week, Girls' of the Month, and the Mother and Daugh- ter Tea. Senior high officers ore: Sylvia Haligus, Darlene Ross, Ann Schnell and Marlys Munro, seated. Pat Taylor and Betty senior drama The purpose of this organization is to pro- mote dramatic activity among th e students. This years officers were Je r r y Gilbert, presi- dent, Bruce Mortensen, vice-president, C a r ol Tweedie, secretaryg 6 Jeannie Hulse, trea- surer, Howard Zimmer- man acted as their adviser. Activities of the Junior High Girls' League consisted of three parties, Red Cross work, and Girls' of the Month. They also worked with the senior high girls on the Mother and Daughter Tea. Rendering services to the school is the purpose of the Service Club which was organized four years ago. Some of the duties of members are setting up chairs for assemblies and watching the lunch line. Officers for the year were Jim Martin presi- dent, Clarence Fleshman, vice-president and Ed- ward Hinckley, adviser. The Hi-Y is a newly organized club for iun- ior high boys. They helped set up chairs in the caforium, took swimming trips and functioned like a service club in general. Officers for the year were: Paul Nickolsen, president Loren Lengacher, vice-president, Dan Tweedie, secretoryg Jim Olsen, treasurer, Fred Cassity, Sergeant of arms, and Forrest Hadsall, adviser.
