Think hard, write and erase, write again, spend hours worrying and finally the l953 Gulo Luscusl This is true, as anyone knows who was ever in Miss Schaeler's room during 4th and 6th period this year. As the deadline drew nearer you could see the staff literally slaying away to get the last pages pasted up. Pictures and copy for a page would be lost and suddenly found again and many enemies were made of faculty members as loud announcements were made for students ta report to room l2 to have their pictures taken. But through all the headaches and problems, and to the great relief of the staff, the last page was finally sent to the printers. This year's staff consisted of eleven juniors and seniors. Special credit goes to Miss Schoe- ler this year, as adviser, for the headache al- ways seemed to wind up on her desk for her to straighten out, gulo Iuscus Eidtor-in-Chief Adviser .,.,..c,, ,,., Business Manager Sales Manager Classes ..,,,,, , Organizations , Features Sports , , Photography , ,, Copy and Layouts Division Pages Betty Jo Bumguaraner , Miss Gertrude Schoeler ,. ..,, Joan Bond ,, Rita Reddish , Joe Ella Lindley ., , Barbara Jernberg Aileen Asplund, Doris Petersen . , , George Shephard , Jim Creasey, Allen Berntzen, Charlotte Pritchard ,, , , Helen Johnson Rita Reddish, Sylvia Haligus, Gordon Fry and Linda Swisher 3 3'1 5 Barbara, Helen, Jo Ella, Rita, Doris and Jim plan layouts and write copy.
