TOM POWERS Superintendent HAROLD MCABEE Assistant Superintendent administration . . lt is a distinct privilege and pleasure to bring friendly and sincere greetings to the students of Willamette High School. A good school must have the under- standing and support of the patrons, It most certainly requires o strong corps of teachers. Most important it has to have an intelligent, diligent and co- operative student body. The Willamette High School has been fortunate, for this highly succesful year indicates it has all of these. The school year l952-53 has been the best in the schools history. lt is for this reason I wish to commend you highly and express appreciation for your continuous and effective coopera- tion. Tam Powers, Superintendent Mr. McAbee came to Lane County School District 52 this fall from Cave Junction in southern Oregon to assume the position of assistant superinten- dent which was vacated by Marvin Smith last spring. Mr. McAbee has had experience in both elementary and secondary levels and at present is work- ing on his doctorate.
