All the students were enthusiastic and helped with the construction of the booths, Everyone took part in selling tickets for class candidates for queen. Marilyn Chittick, the seventh grade candl- date, was crowned Queen of the Carnival by the Student Body President, Paul Jackson. The other candidates for queen were: Mary Lee Asplund, Rozella Arnola, Joan Bond, Kntty Bertelsen, and Joyce Bernard. The greater part of the responsibility of organization and promotion was carried by Jackie Meadows, General Chairman, and Lewis Wright, Construction Manager.
