m eco- mt ri a Homecoming has always been a favorite event among enthusiastic Ropers. This year Ropers showed exceptionally great spirit and pride in their school during homecoming. Sherry Malone was named Miss Will Rogers the Fortieth on October 20. Her court attendants were seniors Kay LaValley and Tammy Townsend; juniors Jodie Garcia and Julie Thruman; and sophomores Stephanie Carlson and Janna Carpenter. During halftime activities at the homecoming game with Edison, Miss Will Rogers and her attendants were brought onto the field for coronation ceremonies. They were accompanied by senior escorts Bill Yelton, Steve Lewis and Todd Terrell; junior escorts Tom Lackey and Mark Terrell; and sophomore escorts Jimmy Barton and Kevin Bruner.
