Born within the boundaries of Oklahoma, 'Will Rogers was a true American. In his veins flowed the blood of the native Indian and that of the pioneers responsible for the development of this great land. 'lloday the school, named in his memory, is striving to uphold the ideals of that true philosopher so that they can help to carry this country from the danger it now faces. VVill Rogers, always an aviation enthusiast, was interested in industrial progress as wellfso is the school on the hill, with its most modern equipment, and up-to-date teaching facilities. He had an eye to the future-as do we-the Will Rogers High School's program is constantly altered to meet the growing demands of our times. Offering some 106 courses, Will Rogers School is training its students to carry this war right to Hitler's door. Klany courses, offered day and night, give adults as well as students the knowledge necessary to fit them for jobs of key importance in our war effort. Since the opening of the school September 11, 1039, three graduating classes have passed from VVill Rogers, and as the fourth, we will soon join them in entering industry and business.
