AgW A Nlemoieiol to on Olileihomein From Qklahonieins Built on a hill overlooking Rogers' beloved Verdigris valley, the VVill Rogers Meiiiorial at Claremore, Oklahoma, is a shrine visited by thousands of Americans annually. Within the walls of this Nlemorial visitors are vividly reminded of the man Rogers Was, and of the fatal flight in August, 1935, upon which the pic- ture at the left-the last one made of Will Rogers-was made. This Nlemorial is a tribute to Oklahomals best loved citizen and isareeognition ofhis worldly influence and outstanding character.
