Good Citizen By vote of her classmates and the high school faculty, NINA DELPH, a senior, was chosen D.A.R. Good Citizen of W.H.S. Selection was made upon the basis of Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism. As Good Citizen, Nina took a written examination on the Affairs of the Community, State, Nation, and World, in local com- petition with winners from several Henry County schools. The papers were judged locally, and Wilkinson's and Knightstowns entries were entered in the state contest. The State D.A.R. Good Citizen was an- nounced at the D.A.R. State Council meeting in February and NINA was awarded second place in the state contest. Wilkinson School's participation in the contest was made possible by invitation from the Major Hugh Dinwiddie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Knightstown, Indiana. Mrs. Nancy Sparks Martin, a W.H.S. alumna, is that chapters Good Citizenship chair- man. CONGRATULATIONS NINA, for being a good Good Citizeng and THANKS, MAJOR HUGH DINWIDDIE CHAPTER OF D.A.R., for inviting W.H.S. seniors to participate!
