dllilldgf For those who especially like French the course offers three years study in grammar and in the various types of French literature. A short history of France, short stories, a novel, dialogues, and plays are read and enjoyed. For the lovers of the land of Heine there is offered a two year course. Following a general grammar study, are stories of German life which are read with interest. Then for the student who dreams of castles in Spain there is a two year Spanish course where he may learn the customs, the geography, and literature of old Spain. Although the vocabularies are pesky and the grammar sometimes a necessary bore, there is much satisfaction in being able to speak even a phrase or two in a foreign tongue. But there is joy and delight when we become acquainted with a foreign language and are led into a new world of thought and feeling. 732 fo fnjby Miss RENA RONEY French In a Latin class . . .
