OUR SUPERINTENDENT lfor the past thirty-live years Mr. Graham has been our leader. He has held high ideals before us in all of our intellectual parades, hrst as principal of the high school, and later, from 1929 to the present day as superintendent of our schools. Throughout this long march he has capably guided and directed, not only our mental progress, but our physical advances as well. Keenly interested in all our activities, especially in our athletics, we see Mr. Graham as one of the earliest leaders in inter-scholastic competitive sports, and as one who did much to make the VV. P. I. A. L. a success. XVe see him again as the leader of many fine customs and tradi- tions of our school which have become firmly established and much beloved. Among these is our chapel service, so dear to the students and the alumni. As it is among the most cherished memories of the school days, we shall always thank Mr. Graham for teaching us how to pause amid the day's march for that quiet half-hour. 11 XVii.r.iAxr C.
