It is with a feeling of sincere gratitude that we dedicate this, the 1961 Amnicola, to Mrs. Eugene S. Farley, the First Lady of Wilkes, whose charm and graciousness have enriched Our college years. We take this op- portunity to express our appreciation for her countless contributions to Our college and community and, particularly, for her inter- est in us as students. Her spirit of con- geniality permeates our college life and in- fuses among us a feeling of empathy. As aestudent of music and art, as an ac- complished hostess, and as a warm personali- ty, she has furnished us with confidence and inspiration that we will not soon forget. Again, we thank her for her interest, con- cern, and devotion.
