Cheerleaders It’s only a quarter! The Cheerleaders have the support of the entire student body at the pep rallies. Vitality, enthusiasm, co-operation, sportsmanship, ability and hard work— these are a few of the essential characteristics of a cheerleader. Their practice begins in the summer and continues throughout the year as they work toward a common goal—to pro- mote school spirit. We see the effect of this through bonfires, pep rallies, posters, and most of all ballgames. They accomplish their goal because they, themselves, represent it so well.
